Andrew Wu, MD
Whether you're taking the first step in reaching out for help or you've worked with previous providers in the past, you're hoping to work with someone who is open and committed to working with you collaboratively to develop individualized treatment that will achieve your goals. I believe mental health treatment demands a flexible and creative approach. If we work together, I will thoughtfully approach your treatment in this fashion to evaluate if medications and/or therapy may be appropriate for your needs.
I am a board-certified Harvard-trained psychiatrist and instructor at Harvard Medical School. I have broad experience with psychiatric management of mood and anxiety disorders, and applying multimodal therapeutic techniques like DBT and ACT to best suit my patients needs. I have a friendly approach to psychiatric care and make it a priority to establish a safe-space for all patients.
I am also part-time faculty at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital, where I provide patient-centered care to diagnostically complex patients and work to reduce occupational burnout for physicians and clinicians.
